<p>The Corporation has recently undertaken house construction projects as follows;</p>
<h5 class="blog-post-title"> 1. Construction of 66No 68No E3-72 semi -detached houses at Ngumbe by Hualong Construction.</h5>

<p>The Corporation just completed construction works of 66No blocks of semi -detached houses. These houses were constructed
using National Bank loan. The works were completed and handed over. Currently all houses are occupied by tenants.</p>
<p>Contract sum was Mk 1,699,762,525.38</p>
<h5 class="blog-post-title">2. Construction of 12No Class E- 2 bedroomed semi-detached houses at Ngumbe</h5>

<p>The Houses were constructed by Kaliyeka Construction Company but completed by Malawi Housing Construction Company.</p>
<p>The works involved construction of two bedroomed semi –detached. Total construction cost after completion is MK284,815,179.06.
Works were constructed using internal generated funds</p>
<h5 class="blog-post-title">3. Construction of 8No Class D105 - 3 bedroomed houses at Ngumbe by Rays Construction Limited </h5>

<p>The project is being completed by Malawi Housing Corporation Construction Company.</p>
<p>The works involved construction of three bedroom houses. Works are practically to be completed by 30th November, 2024</p>
<h5 class="blog-post-title">4. Construction of 16No Class E- 2 bedroomed semi-detached houses at Ngumbe and 12No flats at BCA constructed by Fargo Limited</h5>

<p>Houses were constructed using National Bank loan. The works were completed and handed over. Currently all houses are occupied by tenants.</p>
<p>Contract sum was Mk 1,082,134,232.81</p>
