Reference is made to the attached letter and meeting between Malawi Housing
Corporation and Blantyre City Council today 7th October 2024.

Malawi Housing Corporation presented the challenge of encroached land in
Chiwembe as per the attached letter.

The CEO of BCC concluded that MHC should submit the legal  papers for
Malawi Housing Corporation for the land so that they can take the next step
forward.  They requested if the legal documentation can be submitted today
by Legal Services Manager to Director of Legal for BCC.

Meanwhile BCC will send Stop Orders to the people who were allocated plots
on access road to our plots and where the sewers are running until the
issue is resolved.

This memo is forwarded for information and action.
